Salim Mehajer begins 11-month jail term
user posted image

Disgraced property developer, groom and politician Salim Mehajer is back in jail - this time for 11 months - after committing electoral fraud.

A magistrate on Friday jailed Mehajer for 21 months, ordering he be released after 11 months and then placed on a $500 three-year good behaviour bond.

The former Auburn deputy mayor has spent the last few months in and out of jail, after winning and losing bail applications or breaching bail conditions on other charges.

His latest stint behind bars comes after being found guilty of 77 charges related to a joint criminal enterprise with his sister aimed at influencing the 2012 Auburn City Council vote.

Fatima Mehajer received a two-month suspended sentence because she acted under her brother's direction and had been under family pressure to be part of "Team Salim".

Mehajer's father Mohamad, the court heard, blamed himself for his son's problems saying he had spoilt him and treated him as the "golden child".

Just a good start.

Imagine the friends that little Sally will be able to make in the clink.

We already knew that this person was undisciplined in every way! Just look at the way it was ALWAYS about Salim, and no one else! Lying, cheating, forging, fake car smashes, etc. you name it, he's done it! And when his wife wouldn't return to him, he threatened to RAPE HER FATHER! Now, is that anywhere close to normal? Should he be involved in council, even at a low level, in any way?
Obviously, the wedding was a classic "golden child" act. He doesn't appear to understand, or care, about what we would consider reasonably normal behaviour. Like a spoilt kid, he just wants what he wants, and doesn't care how he gets it. Even his house in Auburn was a tasteless mish-mash of all the different things HE wanted at different times, without any thoughts of cohesiveness. But, at least he was able to post a photo of himself sitting on the curved marble stairs, with his Louis Vuitton black casuals on. (In case nobody knew that, they were prominently showing in silver letters "LV" across the front!
Poor, sad Salim! And, it does appear that his old man didn't help the situation much, either!

They could have been knock-offs. The LV could stand for Little Vulture.

Jailed Salim Mehajer 'has a $250,000 BOUNTY on his head and has been placed in solitary confinement in prison to protect him from vengeful underworld figures'

Salim Mehajer will be kept in protective custody to avoid bounty hunters taking advantage of a $250,000 price tag on his head, according to 'intelligence'.

The bounty over the disgraced businessman's alleged debts is the reason he will likely spend his 21-month sentence for electoral fraud in segregation at Sydney's Silverwater Prison, Seven News reported.

He was jailed on Friday sentenced a maximum of 21 months in jail for 77 cases of electoral fraud relating to the 2012 local NSW Government election.

Well who would have thought !!! Pretty boy really does have friends in low places..

People, my iPad is sometimes possessed and makes decisions about my posts, which is why I try to read it back before I send it ( by the way, I just wrote "send it" and it decided that I wanted to write "senecio!" What the hell...?)
Regarding his casual shoes, I wanted to write that he wanted to make sure that we all NOTICED the "LV" emblazoned across the front. IT SHOULDN't have said, 'in case nobody knew that..' I mean, we already know that!

Phillip, I think that modern tech has been programmed to help the younger generations who need 'thinking' devices - it kind of makes us older peoples want to kick the backsides of all 'thems' who made these stupid things.

I like your choice of cell mate Flin, this bloke also volunteered.
